PETERSFIELD, UK — InSync Technology, the leading provider of high-quality video processing technology, today announced that its standards conversion products, FrameFormer, MCC-4K, and MCC-8K, performed flawless conversions at the recent Paris Olympics, handling more than 11,000 hours of broadcast video. The InSync solutions delivered seamless single-channel HD stream conversions with the highest image clarity and detail, managing up to 8K resolution for two broadcasters. Many InSync vendor partners were part of the massive footprint of the InSync FrameFormer solution, as the “InSync Inside” industry campaign has grown consistently leading up to the Paris games.
The InSync MCC-HD one rack unit (1RU) products also were consistent with the Paris Olympics’ goal of being the most sustainable Olympics, as their power consumption is the most efficient on the market. The MCC-HD2, for instance, requires 35w of power per channel.
“There was more available coverage of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics than any previous Olympic games, and global broadcasters depended on InSync to deliver perfect video with pristine audio,” said James Taylor, CEO of InSync. “We are thrilled with the overall results of our solutions; for the kind of exacting live events that demand flawless conversion, our products are taking the podium.”
InSync will demonstrate new products and features for its lineup at the upcoming IBC Show in Amsterdam, at Booth#2.C30 in the RAI Convention Center, from September 13-16.
