Leipzig, Germany, 17 May 2024 – DHD will promote its range of audio production solutions on stand D11 at the upcoming Podcast Show in London. The event will be held at the Business Design Center, Islington, from 9 am to 6 pm on Wednesday 22 May through Thursday 23 May.

“Podcasting continues to grow in importance both for independent content creators and established broadcasters,” comments Marc Herrmann, DHD audio Managing Director. “It has also proved a highly cost-effective medium through which creative communicators can focus on specific themes or demonstrate their artistic skills to viewers and listeners around the world. We see quality as making a key difference in the crowded podcast sector.”

DHD’s established product range includes compact and affordable mixers such as the DX2 fully featured desktop audio mixing system which is designed for use wherever space is at a premium.

The DX2 offers the same simplified user experience as all the other DHD mixers but in a tabletop housing. It is available as a standalone base module with four faders plus monitoring, talkback and central controls. An integral 7.8 inch wide multi-touch display shows the mixer configuration, allowing operators to concentrate fully on their presentation when live-streaming or recording.

Rear panel connections of the DX2 include a power input, XLR microphone input, 6.3 mm jack right and left line outputs, a 6.3 mm jack stereo headphone output and a 3.5 mm mini jack input port allowing direct audio insertion from a smartphone. Also included is a GPO connector for microphone arms.

Optional Assist App 52-8512 can be used to control the DX2 via a 1:1 copy directly from any browser. The mixer can also integrate easily with state-of-the-art broadcast I/O equipment such as Dante or AES67 AoIP interfaces.
